1. Introduction

When you get sick, there are two kinds of causes, internal and external. For example, some people get a sore throat with inflammation caused by bacteria when they have a cold but others don't. When bacteria, an external cause, attack a person’s throat, in the former case, the person develops a sore throat since they have the internal cause of having a weak throat or weakness of immunity in their throat.

When a patient hasn’t been able to cure his sore throat with antibiotics, Kiraku therapy can cure the sore throat by improving the immunity. But you have to wait for four days before treatment since it takes about four days after developing a sore throat to build up immunity to the virus. If the patient still has a sore throat four days after developing it, usually something is making the immunity on their throat weak.

Pharyngeal immunity is related to the power of the lungs. Lungs have a wave-like involuntary movement besides breathing movements. When it becomes weak, the power of the lungs becomes weaker. The power of lungs is related to the Lung Meridian, a hypothetical line, which starts at the root of the nail of a thumb and goes into the body below collarbones. Normally the tissues on the line also have a wave-like involuntary movement. When this becomes weak, the lungs’ wave-like involuntary movement becomes weak and pharyngeal immunity becomes weak.

When a patient can’t get rid of a sore throat for more than four days, you can cure it as follows;

1. Check the movability of their left and right thumbs. If the movability of their left thumb is worse than the right one, there may be a kouketsu, a stiffened tissue, where the wave-like movement isn’t felt, on the left Lung Meridian.

If the kouketsu is small, it is the simplest case and easy to recover from. You may be able to cure the sore throat by easing it with a laser pointer. Sometimes a 1 milliwatt red laser beam is good enough to release the tissue. Sometimes the stiffened part becomes as hard as bone and you need a stronger tool, like a 400 milliwatt infrared laser beam, sometimes a kouketsu becomes like a belt as long as the arm and it requires a more complex technique or a completely different typed approach.
